AP classes are a great way to explore subjects that aren’t usually a part of high school curriculums. Courses are designed to give a taste of college courses to students while they’re still in high school. Following is a list of AP courses offered at Al-Iman School.

Micro Economics Understanding of the principles of economics that apply to the functions of individual decision-makers, both consumers and producers, within the larger economic system. It places primary emphasis on the nature and functions of product markets and includes the study of factor markets and of the role of government in promoting greater efficiency and equity in the economy.
Computer Science Principles Introduction to the foundations of computer science with a focus on how computing powers the world. Along with the fundamentals of computing, you will learn to analyze data, create technology that has a practical impact, and gain a broader understanding of how computer science impacts people and society.
English Language and Composition Understand the interactions among a writer’s purpose, audience, subject, and genre and how each of these contributes to effective writing. Enhance student’s writing skills and understand better each stage of the writing process as you develop expository, analytical, and argumentative compositions.
Psychology Analyze the methods psychologists use to study various types of behavior and mental processes and evaluate the validity and significance of their contributions.
